Summer Fun

IMG_0523

This is a creek that we enjoyed walking in several times this summer.

It was in this creek that we met some new friends that God sent our way. We were starting to feel that God was leading us to pursue one more year in Colorado. We had met friends, but not very many girls RockyA’s age. The ones we had met are delightful, but our paths cross infrequently. She needed a BFF in CO if we were going to stay. And I prayed that if we stayed, God would send a little girl who came with a mom that I could enjoy and most importantly trust.

Little did we know that there was another mom with same prayer request traipsing to the creek that day. This mom is also an inactive occupational therapist, home schooling mom, and loves and lives for Jesus. As we introduced our selves, we couldn’t believe all of the coincidences. Our 8 year olds are exactly the same size and have less than 30 hours between their birthdays. These are evidently huge bonding points when you are 8 years old!

Then we were all excited to find out that both girls were registered for a school program that provides PE, music, art, Spanish, and Language Arts for home schooling students. AND they are in the same class and see each other at least two mornings a week.

Isn’t that just how God works?

LOVE IT! God is pretty amazing with how He works out everything just so…we could never pull anything off that perfectly by ourselves. 🙂
